SveaStream.tv: Our Official Domain, New Channels and 4K
SveaStream officially operates only at sveastream.tv. Read about the updated channels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, Full HD, 4K, new movies and subtitles.
SveaStream has one official website: sveastream.tv. That is where you find our plans, our free trial and our support, and it is the only place to buy SveaStream.
At the same time, we have updated the service itself. The channel lists for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland have been reviewed, more channels now stream in Full HD with a stable picture, a selection is available in 4K, the library has new movies and the subtitles have been updated. Here is what that means for you.
SveaStream officially operates only at sveastream.tv
From now on, SveaStream runs exclusively under the domain sveastream.tv. The previous address, sveastream.com, automatically sends you to the same page on sveastream.tv, so old links and bookmarks still work.
A single official address makes it easier to know you are in the right place. You only have to remember one name, and everything you do with us, from choosing a plan to contacting support, happens on the same website.
The change of domain does not affect your service:
- Your subscription carries on as usual, with the same login details.
- Support is reached as before on WhatsApp and at support@sveastream.com.
- Prices and terms are the same as before the change.
How to recognise the official SveaStream
There are other websites with similar names that have nothing to do with us. We cannot help with a subscription bought somewhere else, so it pays to check a few things before you pay:
- The address bar should show www.sveastream.tv.
- Save the page as a bookmark and use it next time.
- Only use the contact details listed on sveastream.tv.
- If you are unsure, message our support before you pay. We reply around the clock.
Updated channels in all four countries
We have gone through the channel lists country by country. The service still has 61,000+ channels in total, but this update is about the Nordic channels you watch every day: national channels, sports, news, movies and kids channels.
Sweden
The Swedish list includes SVT1, SVT2, TV4 and Kanal 5, together with Swedish sports, news, series and kids TV.
Norway
The Norwegian list brings together channels such as NRK1 and TV 2, with Norwegian sports, news and entertainment.
Denmark
In the Danish list you will find channels such as DR1, DR2 and TV 2, with Danish sports, news and series.
Finland
The Finnish list includes Yle and MTV3, with Finnish sports, news and entertainment.
All four lists are part of the same subscription. If you live in one of the countries but want to follow another, for example Norwegian football at home in Sweden, you do not need an extra package. With the TV guide you can also see what is on now and what is coming up later on every channel.
Full HD with a stable picture, and selected channels in 4K
A large share of the Nordic channels now stream in Full HD. The picture is sharp even on a big TV, and the stream is built to hold up.
That stability comes from our server infrastructure and from Anti-Freeze 9.8, a technology SveaStream integrates to keep the stream running when your network wobbles. You notice it most during live sports, where a freeze at the wrong moment ruins the whole experience.
On top of Full HD, a selection of channels is broadcast in 4K. To watch them you need:
- a TV, box or app that supports 4K,
- a fast and stable internet connection, ideally over a cable or good Wi-Fi,
- a plan with enough devices if several people in your home watch at the same time.
If you want to know more about what affects picture quality at home, read our guide to reliable Nordic IPTV.
New movies and series
The on-demand library has been topped up with new movies and series. With 180,000+ titles in total, you can watch new releases, classics, documentaries and kids films whenever it suits you, without waiting for a broadcast time.
New titles are added all the time, so it is worth checking the library every now and then.
Updated subtitles
We have also updated the subtitles in the library. More movies and series now have subtitles in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish, so everyone in the family can follow along in their own language. You switch subtitles on and off directly in your app.
How to get the new channels in your app
Most apps fetch the new channel list on their own. If you do not see the new channels straight away, try this:
- Refresh the playlist or channel list in the app settings.
- Restart the app, or the whole device if needed.
- Check that you have the latest version of the app.
If it still does not work, message support and we will help you get everything in place. If you are thinking about switching apps, we compare the most popular ones in our guide to TiviMate, IPTV Smarters and Hot IPTV Player.
